Commercial Driver – Part Time

About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! customer service, helping customers find automotive parts and solutions while maintaining inventory and supporting store operations. As a part-time Commercial Driver, you will use safe driving skills to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers in a company-provided vehicle. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. The role supports timely, accurate deliveries, customer service, store teamwork, and safe vehicle operation.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

Deliver WOW! Customer Service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear, professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support teamwork and strong customer relationships.
Meet delivery time and accuracy goals while following company policies and processes.
Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time to commercial customers.
Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
Stay informed about promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
