About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service and automotive parts solutions in an essential retail industry. As a part-time Commercial Driver, you will use a company-provided vehicle to make safe, timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. The role also involves customer service, teamwork with store personnel and commercial accounts, handling returns and pickups, processing payments, and maintaining delivery vehicles.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, provide clear and professional automotive advice, and offer installation services.
• Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support team collaboration and customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals, and follow company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time to commercial customers.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
• Stay informed about promotions and automotive products using AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report issues.
