About The Position

The Commercial Driver delivers automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role focuses on safe and timely delivery, customer service, accurate handling of merchandise, and collaboration with store personnel and commercial accounts. Drivers also collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors, process customer payments, and maintain delivery vehicles. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

The position is part-time. Candidates must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, meet AutoZone’s driver safety requirements, have basic automotive-parts knowledge, and be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. A high school diploma or GED, bilingual Spanish and English communication skills, automotive retail experience, and a Hazmat endorsement are preferred.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide WOW! customer service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, including clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support team collaboration and customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals, and follow company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay informed about promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
