Commercial Construction Superintendent (Traveling)

About The Position

This is a senior-level field position requiring in-depth knowledge of commercial construction, people and expectations management, and the ability to run a safe and efficient job site. The Superintendent works with the Project Manager and Project Coordinator to manage and oversee day-to-day construction execution at the job site, including overseeing and scheduling subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, inspections, and related activities. This is a traveling position, with average project durations of 10–14 months. Return-home practices vary based on industry and project conditions; the company strives to balance the needs of the employee, business, and project fairly and accommodatingly.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, specifications, contracts, safety regulations, and maintenance instructions.
Proficiency with ProCore, Bluebeam, iAuditor, and Microsoft products.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to produce a quality product safely, within budget, and on schedule.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
