Commercial Construction Plumbing Apprentice
About The Position
W.B. Guimarin is seeking dependable, motivated individuals to train as commercial construction plumbing apprentices on projects throughout South Carolina. Apprentices receive hands-on training while working under the direction of experienced plumbers and foremen, developing the skills needed for a career as a commercial plumber. Training includes safe use and maintenance of plumbing tools and equipment, handling and organizing materials, maintaining a clean and productive work area, and working effectively as part of a commercial construction team. Extensive plumbing experience is not required; candidates with the right attitude, dependability, and work ethic can be trained. The role offers opportunities to take on greater responsibility and perform more advanced plumbing work as knowledge and abilities grow.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Be interested in learning and developing a career in commercial plumbing.
- Be willing to learn new skills and accept instruction and feedback.
- Follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Be comfortable working in an active commercial construction environment.
- Be able to perform the physical duties associated with construction work, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Be committed to following company and jobsite safety requirements.
- Have reliable transportation to assigned jobsites.
- Be willing to travel to jobsites as required.

- Previous plumbing, mechanical, construction, or trade-school experience.
