About The Position
As a CBRE Government and Defense Services Commercial Cleaner, you will perform basic cleaning duties and ensure the cleanliness of assigned areas. Duties include mopping, sweeping, trash disposal, and providing daily cleaning support to designated high-traffic areas of the building. The role follows established work routines and standardized company cleaning processes, with limited discretion in resolving straightforward problems. This is a part-time third-shift position scheduled Friday through Monday, 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The hourly pay rate is $16.00; the compensation offered may depend on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Working conditions include occasional exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals. The position requires physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide daily cleaning support to supervisor-designated high-traffic areas of the building.
- Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, and soap.
- Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other assigned areas.
- Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, including moving and rearranging furniture.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Keep cleaning supplies in a safe, secure area.
- Complete the standardized cleaning process according to company standards.
- Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment.
- Attend regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
- Follow basic work routines and standards and use established procedures to solve straightforward problems.
