About The Position

As a CBRE Government and Defense Services Commercial Cleaner, you will perform basic cleaning duties, including mopping, sweeping, and trash disposal, and ensure the cleanliness of assigned areas. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The role provides daily cleaning support to designated high-traffic building areas and follows standardized cleaning processes and company procedures. Cleaners attend regular staff meetings and required in-service training and use established routines to complete straightforward work.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of job-related experience.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving furniture.
Ability to follow basic work routines and communicate.
Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
Ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
Reliability and responsibility, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic building areas designated by the supervisor.
Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, including moving and rearranging furniture.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Keep cleaning supplies in a safe, secure area.
Complete standardized cleaning processes according to company standards.
Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment.
Attend regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
Follow basic work routines and standards and use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.
