About The Position

As a CBRE Government Services Commercial Cleaner, you will perform basic cleaning duties and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas. The role includes a regular five-day workweek and requires availability to work either Saturday or Sunday. Cleaners follow company cleaning standards and established procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment, and attend regular staff meetings and required in-service training.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of job-related experience.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving furniture.
Ability to follow basic work routines and communicate.
Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
Ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
Reliability and responsibility, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Availability to work either Saturday or Sunday as part of a regular five-day workweek.

Responsibilities

Provide daily cleaning support to supervisor-designated high-traffic building areas.
Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, including moving and rearranging furniture.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Keep cleaning supplies in a safe, secure area.
Complete standardized cleaning processes in accordance with company standards.
Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment.
Attend regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
Follow basic work routines and standards, and use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.
