About The Position
ANCIENT CITY JANITORIAL LLC is seeking a Commercial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in warehouse facilities in Jacksonville, Florida. The position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments in customer buildings and grounds by performing cleaning duties using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, polishing, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and windows, and dusting. The cleaner also maintains inventory of supplies and equipment. The schedule is daytime, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., for 3.5 hours per day and an average of 17.5 hours per week. Scheduled days may vary, with work up to five days a week. Payroll is every two weeks. On-the-job training is provided for people with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift moderate weights.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Effective communication skills and a positive demeanor.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be flexible and able to work at a fast pace in a multitasked job.
- Must be able to stand, walk, push, kneel, twist, and reach for up to 100% of the time.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in warehouse areas, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Ensure surfaces are sanitized and free from debris and hazards.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining clean storage areas.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve cleanliness goals efficiently.
- Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- Perform facility cleaning duties using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures, including polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, and window cleaning.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Contribute to the team effort by wearing a uniform and being dependable and punctual.
