About The Position

ANCIENT CITY JANITORIAL LLC is seeking a Commercial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in warehouse facilities during daytime hours. The position creates cleaner and healthier environments in customer buildings and grounds by completing cleaning duties with provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, polishing, dusting, trash removal, restroom and window cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining supplies and equipment. The role involves working independently and with a team, following safety protocols, and completing assignments within designated timeframes. On-the-job training is provided to candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. The posting describes a daytime schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., averaging 17.5 hours per week. Scheduled days may vary, and payroll is every two weeks.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Good physical stamina and ability to lift moderate weights, including up to 25 pounds.
Reliable transportation and punctuality.
Effective communication skills and a positive demeanor.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Ability to work flexibly and at a fast pace in a multitasked job.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning tasks in warehouse areas, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
Sanitize surfaces and keep them free from debris and hazards.
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Help organize and maintain clean storage areas.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while cleaning.
