About The Position

ANCIENT CITY JANITORIAL LLC is seeking a Commercial Cleaner to help maintain cleanliness and hygiene in warehouse facilities during daytime hours. The role involves cleaning customer buildings and grounds with provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures, and helping ensure a safe and welcoming environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., for 3.5 hours per day and an average of 17.5 hours per week; scheduled days may vary. Payroll is processed every two weeks. On-the-job training is provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Good physical stamina and ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds.
Reliable transportation and punctuality.
Effective communication skills and a positive demeanor.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Ability to work flexibly and at a fast pace in a multitasked job.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in warehouse areas, including sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, window cleaning, and dusting.
Sanitize surfaces and keep them free from debris and hazards.
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to management promptly.
Help organize and maintain clean storage areas.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
Collaborate with team members to meet cleanliness goals efficiently.
Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
Contribute to the overall team effort by wearing a uniform, being dependable and punctual, and treating coworkers and customers courteously and respectfully.
