About The Position
ANCIENT CITY JANITORIAL LLC is seeking a Commercial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in a warehouse in Jacksonville, Florida. The role is scheduled during daytime hours, Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for an average of 24 hours per week. Duties include cleaning warehouse areas and buildings, collecting and removing trash, sweeping, mopping, polishing and dusting, cleaning restrooms and windows, and using floor-care equipment such as a blower, ride-on auto scrubber, and burnisher. Employees also maintain supplies and equipment, report maintenance issues and hazards, and follow safety procedures. Training on the machines is provided; floor-care experience is preferred but not required. The facility requires an extensive background check, and the posting also requires passing a drug screening. Payroll is every two weeks. The employer describes the position as part of a team delivering cleaning services and maintaining safe, healthy environments for customers. Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred; floor-care experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Effective communication skills and a positive demeanor.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work flexibly and at a fast pace in a multitasked job.
- Willingness to learn; on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
- Clean warehouse areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing floors, and removing trash.
- Use a blower to clear the garage area, a ride-on auto scrubber, and a floor burnisher.
- Clean restrooms and windows and ensure surfaces are sanitized and free of debris and hazards.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining clean storage areas.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve cleanliness goals and complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- Contribute to the team effort by being in uniform, dependable, punctual, and courteous to coworkers and customers.
