About The Position

Join Revive™ Service & Restoration as a Field Expert. Farmer Brothers’ Revive™ Service & Restoration team keeps coffee and tea flowing for customers across the region. As a Commercial Beverage Systems Field Service Specialist, you’ll be the trusted pro who installs, maintains, and restores coffee brewing and beverage dispensing equipment for a defined customer base—while keeping meticulous records and managing your parts inventory. A day in the life: You start your morning reviewing scheduled calls, loading the van with the right parts, and heading out within your designated territory (typically within a 100-mile radius, with occasional regional travel). You’ll complete preventative maintenance at one café, troubleshoot an urgent service call at a restaurant, and finish an installation across town—closing out each call with accurate documentation, customer signatures, and clear communication back to the team. You’ll also prepare for potential after-hours or weekend on-call assignments as part of a rotation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of mechanical and technical experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Able to travel within a 100+ mile radius of branch location.
  • Skilled at troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues.
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs frequently.
  • Capable of handling both scheduled and unscheduled work, including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installations.
  • Clear oral and written communication; strong customer service focus.
  • Supportive of business goals; collaborative and dependable.
  • Adept at spotting issues, problems, and opportunities.
  • Applies new knowledge and skills effectively on the job.
  • Self-aware, with strong active listening skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous foodservice experience preferred.
  • Previous electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and Tech Meter experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and remove specified coffee and beverage dispensing equipment across a defined geography.
  • Execute scheduled and unscheduled work: emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, site surveys, and installations.
  • Participate in the after-hours/weekend on-call rotation.
  • Maintain and reorder spare parts and equipment in line with replenishment guidelines.
  • Complete all company-required documentation: thorough work details, call closure steps, accurate invoices, and collection of customer signatures.
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and executing equipment installations.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with customers and internal teams.
  • Share customer feedback and requests with management and partner departments.
  • Follow service level agreements (SLAs) for customer programs.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet expectations.
