About The Position
This four-month Co-op in a Commercial Banking Centre will prepare the intern to provide excellent reactive and proactive service to Commercial clients in a range of specialized areas. Comprehensive training will combine observation, self-study and interactive courses, guaranteeing an exceptional internship experience. This role is a stepping stone to a rewarding career that will give you every opportunity to reach your full potential in a supportive, high-performance environment. During this contractual co-op, you will learn about an exciting career in commercial banking. Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary (university/college) in Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Financial acumen; ability to complete financial studies and risk analysis; experience in assembling financing solutions for the needs of clients with different levels of complexity
- Ability to cultivate solid relationships with partners.
- Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e., web based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications)

- Bilingualism (English/French) written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Learn about needs discovery and solution development to provide commercial clients with advice for their day-to-day banking operations
- Partner with Account Managers to identify, plan & deliver the best solutions to clients and prospects based on strong knowledge of client’s operational requirements
- Participate in ongoing contact programs to forge strong relationships with clients by staying in touch, providing value-added service and meaningful advice
