Student Analyst, Valuations (Fall 2026, 4 Months)

Requirements
- Working towards a business degree in Accounting or Finance
- General knowledge of financial and valuation analysis (i.e. financial statements, valuation methodologies, etc.)
- Attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
- Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform under time pressure and respond to unexpected events or circumstances
- Works on improving own knowledge, skills and aptitudes
- A strong team player able to operate in a fast-paced environment with numerous priorities and deadlines with effective organization time management skills
Nice To Haves
- Interest in pursuing a CBV designation is a plus
- Working knowledge of Capital IQ is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of internal investment valuations, portfolio summary schedules and presentations as part of the quarterly valuation process
- Help maintain and update excel-based financial models
- Review and perform variance analysis on financial data
- Assist in market research, maintaining market data and providing summary reports
- Prepare valuation documentation for internal / external audit purposes
- Assist with the development of budgets and forecasts
- Working closely with other members of the Valuation team in order to ensure accuracy and completeness of analyses and documentation
- Participate in special projects or duties, as required
