Student, Internal Audit (Fall 2026, 4 Months)

This position reports into the Manager, Internal Audit. The incumbent will have primary responsibility for supporting the internal controls program and other tasks as assigned. Requirements
- Working towards a university degree in a relevant field of business, or finance.
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Highly experienced with MS Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Working with members of the Internal Audit team to provide support for the internal controls program testing and reporting
- Present and discuss findings and recommendations to the Manager, Director or Vice President of the team, and specific business unit management
- Ensure that action items are thoughtful, relevant, constructive, and actionable and address the root causes of the issues identified
- Follow-up on management’s remediation plans on a timely basis if required
- Develop effective working relationships with staff in various areas throughout OMERS and OMERS business units.
