About The Position

Hi Tech Commercial Service is seeking Commercial Appliance Technicians to serve Reno, Nevada, and surrounding areas. Technicians work at customer locations troubleshooting, diagnosing, installing, and repairing commercial cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing equipment. The role includes providing customer service, completing calls promptly, identifying opportunities within existing accounts, and maintaining a service vehicle and parts supply. Technicians participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules. Compensation is based on skills and certifications held, and experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $4,000.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cooking, refrigeration, or related military fields.
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Satisfactory background check and drug screen.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets the company's safety standards.

Nice To Haves

• EPA Universal license.
• CFESA certification or related training.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet expectations on every service call.
• Complete service calls in a timely manner.
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
• Maintain the service vehicle and order necessary parts.
