About The Position

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our Commercial Analytics & Insights (A&I) Organization in an Analytics & Insights – Senior Manager position. Individuals in this organization understand the business, consumer, category and customer; analyze data; and turn insights into recommendations to win with our business. The A&I team are experts on consumer and marketing understanding and insights, championing the voice of the consumer. Their core work is the integration of consumer, shopper and market understanding to catalyze business growth across all of our brands. They uncover, interpret and champion consumer and market insights grounded in deep understanding of consumer needs and behaviors through research to enable P&G businesses to better serve the world’s consumers. The team is embedded in customer and category teams across the organization at P&G. They are business leaders integrating their analytic and technical capability, business mastery, and strong written and oral communication skills to identify and articulate insights to drive P&G and category results. They are curious and excel at making creative connections within complex, granular data sets and analytic techniques to uncover insights that they translate into deliver simple conclusions with clear indicated actions for business partners to activate against.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant experience working in a related field
  • A track record of leadership and tenacity.
  • Strong communication skills that will enable you to lead the thinking of makers.
  • Passionate about innovative ideas and enjoy proactively seeking out creative solutions to win.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and are a strong team player who engages colleagues and leaders to execute with excellence.
  • Willing to relocate to Toronto.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an active and influential internal business strategy consultant, ensuring that consumer and shopper analytics and insights are the foundation of our Company business strategy and execution with the retailer.
  • Generate deep insights and integrated stories to grow brand leadership.
  • Clearly understand consumer needs, behaviors and motivations and activating that understanding to enable consumer focused business choices.
  • Understand consumer trends and behaviors to determine best opportunities for growth.
  • Be part of a multi-functional business team, working closely with Brand Management, Finance, Sales, R&D, and others, constantly exploring new opportunities for business growth.
  • Build on and combine soft social skills with analytical skills, and use integrative thinking to convey research findings to drive actions with key business partners.
  • Grow skills day-in, day-out, by connecting with internal & external experts to explore new ways to learn and by exchanging findings with peers.
