About The Position

The Commercial Analytics & Insights (A&I) Organization is seeking a passionate and dynamic individual for an Analytics & Insights – Senior Manager position at their Toronto Head Office. Individuals in this organization are expected to understand the business, consumer, category, and customer, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for business success. The role aims to match individual skill sets and interests with business needs to provide a rewarding career and contribute to a successful business model. The A&I team comprises experts in consumer and marketing understanding, championing the consumer's voice. Their core work involves integrating consumer, shopper, and market understanding to drive business growth across all brands. They uncover, interpret, and advocate for consumer and market insights, grounded in a deep understanding of consumer needs and behaviors through research, to help P&G businesses better serve global consumers. Team members are embedded in customer and category teams, acting as business leaders who combine analytical and technical capabilities, business mastery, and strong communication skills to identify and articulate insights that drive P&G and category results. They are curious and adept at making creative connections within complex data sets and analytical techniques to uncover insights, which they then translate into simple conclusions with clear, actionable recommendations for business partners.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering or a related field
  • You have a minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant experience working in a related field
  • You have a track record of leadership and tenacity.
  • You have strong communication skills that will enable you to lead the thinking of makers.
  • You are passionate about innovative ideas and enjoy proactively seeking out creative solutions to win.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills and are a strong team player who engages colleagues and leaders to execute with excellence.
  • You are willing to relocate to Toronto.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an active and influential internal business strategy consultant, ensuring that consumer and shopper analytics and insights are the foundation of the Company business strategy and execution with the retailer.
  • Generate deep insights and integrated stories to grow brand leadership.
  • Clearly understand consumer needs, behaviors and motivations and activating that understanding to enable consumer focused business choices.
  • Understand consumer trends and behaviors to determine best opportunities for growth.
  • Be part of a multi-functional business team, working closely with Brand Management, Finance, Sales, R&D, and others, constantly exploring new opportunities for business growth.
  • Build on and combine soft social skills with analytical skills, and use integrative thinking to convey research findings to drive actions with key business partners.
  • Grow skills day-in, day-out, by connecting with internal & external experts to explore new ways to learn and by exchanging findings with peers.
