As Senior Manager, Analytics & Insights, you will play a critical role in supporting our Aetna members and our business by building and maintaining executive-level dashboards and operational scorecards using Tableau or other BI platforms. You will establish and enforce data visualization standards to ensure consistency and accessibility of reporting across the MA division. In addition, you will proactively identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within complex datasets and communicate (and present) them through compelling data stories.

Requirements

  • 5 years of progressive experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead analyst capacity.
  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably with a health plan, managed care organization, or Medicare/Medicaid program.
  • Advanced-level proficiency in SQL (complex joins, CTEs, query optimization) in a cloud data warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in at least one analytics scripting language (Python or R).
  • Experience with BI visualization tools (Tableau preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake is preferred, including data modeling, performance tuning, and Snowpark.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, a related quantitative field or equivalent work experience

  • Understanding of Medicare Advantage terminology, bid cycles, and enrollment periods.
  • Strong communication skills
