About The Position

The Commercial Analyst Intern applies concepts from finance, statistics, economics, operations management, and technical disciplines to support improvements in profitability, cash flow, and revenue generation. The intern works with the pricing team to identify cost-optimization opportunities, improve pricing processes, and support business decisions. The role is based on-site at StandardAero’s San Antonio, Texas facility and supports commercial activities for aircraft engine maintenance services.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Expected to have junior or senior academic standing during the internship.
• Ability to work on-site at the San Antonio, Texas facility.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, or report data.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings and business information through written and verbal communication.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Power BI to develop dashboards, reports, or data visualizations.
• Relevant coursework in finance, accounting, statistics, economics, or operations management.
• Experience working with financial data, pricing, invoicing, or business analysis.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience preparing presentations or summarizing data for business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the pricing team in developing customer estimates, invoices, and pricing for aircraft engine maintenance services.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and other functional groups to research new service offerings and support pricing recommendations.
• Perform data entry and validate information from multiple sources to support pricing and commercial activities.
• Support financial analysis and business case development to evaluate and present potential solutions to customers.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and data analyses using Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare reports and analyses to assess the quality of earnings and identify opportunities to improve billing processes.
• Prepare presentations and supporting materials to communicate analytical findings and recommendations.
