Commercial & AI Analyst
About The Position
The Commercial & AI Analyst supports TestEquity’s growth strategy by providing data, insights, and analysis to Sales, Operations, Product Management, Marketing, Digital, and Pricing teams. The role involves hands-on work with business data and commercial priorities, including creating and maintaining reports and dashboards, making recommendations to leadership, and responding to ad hoc analysis requests across departments globally. This position also applies advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to identify patterns, generate predictive insights, support automation, and enable data-driven decision-making. The analyst works with business and Technology & AI teams to develop analytical solutions, evaluate model performance, and contribute to responsible AI practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in an analytical role.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
- Experience with SQL and data structures.
- Experience with predictive analytics or statistical modeling.
- Familiarity with Python or similar tools.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including training, validation, and monitoring.
- Awareness of data governance, bias, and explainability principles.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully, consistent with applicable ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with applicable ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.

Responsibilities
- Carry out in-depth analyses of business activities and identify learnings and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain reports that help stakeholders manage and grow the business.
- Respond to ad hoc data and analysis requests from business teams.
- Act as lead analyst across various project teams.
- Monitor business performance against targets and report to leadership.
- Develop and contribute to business reviews and leadership presentations.
- Develop and apply predictive and prescriptive analytics models.
- Use AI and machine learning techniques to uncover insights from complex datasets.
- Partner with Technology & AI teams to identify and prioritize AI use cases.
- Translate business problems into analytical and AI-driven solutions.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of analytical and AI models.
- Support data preparation and feature engineering for modeling.
- Contribute to responsible AI practices, including governance and explainability.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and decision workflows.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
