Commercial Account Manager
About The Position
Duncan Supply Company, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Account Manager in Chillicothe, Ohio. This is a career opportunity with a family-owned organization that is an industry leader in distributing refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, and food service equipment and supplies. The Commercial Account Manager will develop and maintain customer relationships to generate sales, educate customers on products and programs, and find and develop new account opportunities. This role focuses on working with contractors in the commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and food service markets and will play a key role in building the Columbus market. This position offers a potential path for advancement.
Requirements
- Three years sales or industry experience (Required)
- US work authorization (Required)
- Valid Driver license with safe driving record (Required)
- Skill set weighted in commercial refrigeration equipment sales
- Bias for proactive action and/or significant existing relationships in the commercial refrigeration contractor channel
- Works well in a team environment
- Communicates well both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence
- Able to develop a working understanding of products and programs offered by Duncan Supply and vendors
- Acute attention to detail
- Understands how to manage priorities and workflows
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain customer relationships that generate sales opportunities.
- Educate customers on products and programs Duncan Supply offers.
- Find and develop new account opportunities selling customers on Duncan Supply products and value-added services.
- Expand market share in assigned market.
- Complete tasks from start to finish.
