About The Position
Boehmer Heating and Cooling is seeking a driven and personable Comfort Advisor for their Home HVAC Sales team. This is a full commission role with a 6-month ramp-up period. The company has a strong reputation, serving Pittsburgh homeowners and businesses since 1933. The ideal candidate will be good with people, eager to build their career, and operate with integrity. No prior HVAC experience is required as training will be provided.
Requirements
- Outgoing, confident personality with a genuine enjoyment of talking to people.
- High ethical standards.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and accountable.
- Professional presentation and strong communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Sales experience in any industry is a plus, but not required.
- No HVAC experience required.
Responsibilities
- Visit residential homes and light commercial properties to assess customer needs and present solutions.
- Manage the full sales process from in-home consultation to signed agreement.
- Present the right solution at the right price, focusing on problem-solving rather than pushing products.
- Hand off closed deals cleanly to the production team.
- Manage a maximum of 4 appointments per day to ensure adequate customer attention.
- Ride along with certified service technicians during slower periods to gain field experience.
