Requirements

Proven experience as a collision estimator, preferably in heavy-duty trucks, buses, or commercial vehicles
Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, damage assessment, and repair procedures
Proficiency with estimating software such as CCC ONE, Mitchell, or equivalent
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

Inspect damaged heavy-duty trucks and buses to assess the extent of collision-related repairs
Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software
Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians regarding repair scope and costs
Coordinate with body shop staff to ensure timely and efficient repairs
Review repair procedures and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Document all repair estimates and maintain organized records for each vehicle
Assist in parts ordering and tracking to facilitate smooth repair processes
Stay updated on industry trends, repair techniques, and insurance requirements
