About The Position

This position assists students in a one-stop shop to help them succeed. The student will help peers gain knowledge of the college by giving information and sharpen their interaction skills by talking to students about their studies and progress in their classes. They will learn how to work in a professional environment where they will polish their academic and work retention skills in any field of study.

Requirements

• Only students who have completed this year’s FAFSA and accepted the Student Employment Award in their Financial Aid Package are eligible to apply
• Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Proof of Student Employment Award (copy of latest CSN Award Notification showing the Student Employment Award, or a screenshot of accepted award from the “View/Accept Financial Aid” screen in MyCSN)

Responsibilities

• Answering and transferring calls on multi-line phone
• Retrieving and responding to voicemails
• Filing paperwork, data entry, and archiving old files
• Assisting walk-in students
• Helping manage appointments
• Participating and assisting in campus events
• Additional duties as assigned

Benefits

• Hourly Rate of Pay: $14.00
