About The Position

This position supports students, staff, and visitors by completing various administrative and customer service duties within the Career Services department. The role involves acting as a student ambassador, guiding students towards career success in a friendly and welcoming environment. The department helps guide students in career guidance to achieve, succeed, and prosper. We seek students who are engaging, kind, welcoming, and enjoy championing a peaceful, and friendly work environment while serving as student ambassadors for their respective campuses.

Requirements

Only students who have completed this year’s FAFSA and accepted the Student Employment Award in their Financial Aid Package are eligible to apply
Be friendly, outgoing, and willing to learn
Have an understanding of diverse and inclusive environments
Be able to follow directions and communicate effectively
Have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
Resume/CV
Proof you’ve received the Student Employment Award (copy of latest CSN Award Notification or screenshot of accepted award)
Show a financial aid eligible major (degree or certificate program) declared with the CSN Office of the Registrar.
Meet Financial Aid Satisfactory Progress after each semester/term to qualify for employment within the academic year.
Show degree compliant enrollment for each semester/term for which funding is desired.
Be enrolled in at least 6 credits and meet additional eligibility requirements of the Silver State Regents Service Program for summer semester/term employment.
Student’s cannot work another part-time position within NSHE at the same time they are employed as a CSN College Work Study student.
