About The Position
Southwest Tennessee Community College is seeking a College Work Study student to serve as the Men's Basketball Team Photographer. This position reports to the Coach and is responsible for capturing photographs and videos of events related to the Men's basketball team. The college is a comprehensive, multicultural, public, open-access institution with multiple campuses offering numerous programs and technical certificates, dedicated to fostering student success and transforming lives in the community.
Requirements
- Must be a registered student of Southwest Tennessee Community College.
- Only students who are approved for Federal Work Study are qualified for this position.
- Applicant owning their own camera is a plus
- Attending all games, community service events, award ceremonies, etc.
- Commitment to the time requirement
- Good communication and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Taking pictures and video at games, practices, community service events, award ceremonies, etc.
- Downloading content immediately following the event
- Collaborating with the Sports Information Director and Social Media Specialist on creating content
- Camcorder operation on game days
- Some travel may be required
- Professional dress is required on game days
