About The Position

This role will report to the Sr. Manager, System Operations, Reliability & Compliance group at Hydro One, working directly with one or more Sr. Network Management Officers. This group is accountable for process and procedural documents that support the safe and reliable operation of the electricity transmission and distribution system in Ontario. This job will provide you following professional development: Hands on experience with Hydro One Network Operating Document System (NODS), Exposure to Hydro One Control Room Information System (CRIS), Learning time management skills, Problem Solving and Decision Making.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enrolled in a 2-year college Business Administration or similar Co-op Program with a 12-month Co-op Term option.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Hydro One requires that all students applying for student opportunities be enrolled in post-secondary level studies and be returning to full-time studies upon the completion of their work term. Exceptions will be made in cases where students require a work term in order to graduate.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing and formatting, drafting and formal posting of Operating Instructions, Business Process Documents, Memos, Facility Design Description documents and other related material
  • Providing support for maintaining information in our internal document management systems
  • Arranging team meetings and taking meeting minutes
  • Provide coverage for building reception duties (as required)
