About The Position

The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) invests in a network of community-based organizations and programs to alleviate the effects of poverty and to provide opportunities for New Yorkers and communities to flourish. Under the supervision of the Director of the DYCD Information Technology (IT) Application Support, provides end-user support in routine and non-routine application support issues by diagnosing problems, offering solutions and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school.
  • Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school.
  • Specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or closely related field (for Assignment Level II and III).
  • 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study (for Assignment Level II and III).

Responsibilities

  • Provides end-user support in routine and non-routine application support issues by diagnosing problems, offering solutions and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
