Collections Specialist

About The Position

The Collections Specialist will perform collection activity for accounts assigned. They will work effectively with the General/Facility, Sales Representative, and branch personnel by providing them status of collections. They will provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in commercial collections or Accounts Receivable.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Google Workspace will be highly desirable.
  • Experience with AS400 and Soft Pak software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the collection process (calls/letters) to meet or exceed monthly financial goals.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations, manage unapplied cash, and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Partner with Sales and branch teams to provide status updates and resolve customer disputes.
  • Track outstanding accounts, report status to management, and maintain accurate records in compliance with company policy and regulations.
