Manages complex accounts with specialization in areas such as Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, REO/Property Preservation, Repossession, Remarketing, Legal Liaison, or Post Charge Off Collections. This role involves initiating contact with delinquent borrowers, assessing repayment prospects, and arranging solutions like loan workouts or credit counseling. It also includes interacting with attorneys and trustees, conducting skip tracing, and recommending placements with third-party agencies. The specialist will also contact business partners to ensure service level agreements are met and participate in loss prevention by employing advanced strategies to protect the bank's interest in collateral while maximizing cost containment. This includes reviewing collateral condition, establishing asset value, negotiating sales, and concluding transactions with limited oversight. The role requires developing an understanding of the business, its functions, processes, and operations, and staying informed about business and market trends. Adherence to compliance and operational risk controls, internal control standards, and maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment are also key aspects of this position.
