Collections Manager - RCM
About The Position
Vital Care is seeking a Collections Manager to manage reimbursement activities across multiple infusion and specialty pharmacy business units. Depending on the area of responsibility, the role may oversee referral intake, insurance benefit investigations, prior authorizations, billing, and collections. The manager fosters outstanding customer service in interactions with franchise partners, payers, and patients, develops effective teams, and supports timely, successful payer reimbursement. Regulatory compliance is the foundation of revenue cycle policies and procedures. This is a full-time, remote position.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of home infusion therapy experience.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple teams processing new patient referrals, insurance benefit investigations, prior authorizations, billing, and collections, depending on the area of responsibility; teams may include up to 60 people.
- Manage resource allocation to meet KPIs, track workload distribution, and assess staffing needs.
- Focus on meeting and exceeding financial and departmental metrics.
- Coach and mentor supervisors through one-on-one meetings and annual performance reviews, and provide counseling when needed to address performance.
- Monitor payroll for accuracy and proper processing.
- Serve as an escalation point for supervisors and team members to resolve complaints from franchise partners or patients.
- Create, implement, communicate, and maintain standard operating procedures for areas of responsibility.
- Promote customer service through training, feedback, and staff mentoring.
- Audit team transactions for accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures, and identify training opportunities.
- Interview and select staff to meet business requirements and develop an effective team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
