About The Position

Northern Gulf is seeking a dependable Collections Driver to perform weekend used cooking oil (UCO) collection services across the Houston region. The role focuses on safe driving, consistent route execution, and professional customer interaction. It is a part-time, driver-only position offering up to 25 hours of work, predictable routes, and the potential to become full-time as the company grows. The driver supports Northern Gulf’s expanding Texas operations by providing reliable service to customers.

Requirements

• Route driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. and work in outdoor environments.
• Strong reliability and punctuality.
• Comfort working independently on daily routes.

Nice To Haves

• Class A or B CDL.
• Experience with vacuum trucks, pump systems, or liquid hauling.
• Experience in waste collection, grease trap service, or environmental services.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company truck to collect used cooking oil from customer locations.
• Perform bin swaps, bin deliveries, and equipment placement.
• Safely operate pumps, hoses, and tank systems.
• Maintain accurate route logs, collection volumes, and service notes.
• Follow DOT, safety, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Interact professionally with restaurant managers and staff.
• Report access issues, equipment problems, and service concerns.
• Maintain a clean, respectful presence at customer sites.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Promptly report mechanical issues.
• Assist with basic hose, pump, and fitting maintenance.
• Keep the truck and equipment clean and organized.
• Coordinate route timing with dispatch and operations.
• Assist with plant unloading.
• Support occasional special pickups or emergency service calls.
