This role involves managing a portfolio of auto loan accounts to reduce delinquency by contacting customers to understand their intent and ability to pay. The Collections Coordinator will maintain positive relationships while collecting on past-due balances, negotiating solutions that work for both customers and GLS, and adhering to state and company guidelines in a fast-paced environment. Accurate documentation of all contacts, outcomes, and follow-up in GLS systems is crucial, as is meeting or exceeding assigned goals and business plan objectives. The role also includes maintaining electronic records and supporting additional assignments or special projects as needed.
