About The Position

KONE is a global leader in elevators, escalators, and automatic building doors, dedicated to improving urban life through innovative solutions. We are seeking a Collections Associate to support our New York Metro District from our Manhattan office, covering all five boroughs and New Jersey collections. This role offers a hybrid schedule after the initial training period. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in handling collections disputes, the ability to collaborate across departments, proficiency in office management tools, and a tenacious approach to task completion. Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant B2B Collections expertise.
• Proficiency in SAP/Excel/GAP.
• Proficiency with office management tools (e.g. Excel, SAP Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
• Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization to achieve business goals.
• Tenacity and perseverance to see an objective through to completion.
• Successful documentation of status updates/details to present to stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Background in successfully handling a collections dispute process from beginning to end.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of credit collection tasks related to branch operations.
• Initiate initial contact with customers.
• Request action and follow up appropriately.
• Record customer disputes.
• Facilitate dispute resolution by coordinating with appropriate parties.
