About The Position

This role oversees the day-to-day operations of a busy administrative office within a collections environment. The Collections Administrator leads a team of administrative associates, supports collaboration with the collections department, and ensures that client-focused service remains efficient, professional, and consistent. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching and developing employees, improving office processes, and delivering high-quality customer and client support. The main job duties are handling escalation calls.

Requirements

  • Strong office management skills, including organizing workflows and coordinating daily operations.
  • Customer service and customer support experience, ideally in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Experience working in or with a company that has heavy client interaction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle escalated issues professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the office to ensure smooth, efficient, and organized workflows.
  • Coordinate and oversee administrative support activities, including customer and client support tasks.
  • Partner closely with the collections department to support shared goals and maintain consistent communication.
  • Monitor team performance, attendance, and productivity, and take appropriate action to maintain high standards.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative office culture that emphasizes strong customer service.
  • Handle escalated customer or client service issues and ensure timely, effective resolution.
  • Organize and prioritize office tasks and resources to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance administrative processes and procedures.
