About The Position

As a member of the Cog Railway Team, the Parking Lot Attendant conducts systematic and orderly filling of the parking lots. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Answers questions from guests and members of the public regarding train operation, parking, and the locale.
  • Addresses guest issues and complaints and directs guests with complaints to the appropriate department or manager.
  • Contacts bus drivers upon arrival to direct them through bus turnaround loop.
  • Monitors parking areas for unauthorized vehicles. Takes appropriate action (warning, booting, or towing), or escalates to the parking supervisor.
  • Directs guests with mobility issues to appropriate parking areas and aids guests in reaching the depot and boarding their appropriate trains.
  • Performs specific yard and grounds clean-up and other projects as directed.
  • Work at entrance to Ruxton Ave. to allow only authorized vehicles up Ruxton Ave.
  • Must be dependable and able to work scheduled hours or extra hours as required.
  • Must be able to follow direction and implement tasks with little to no supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
