About The Position

This position involves training, coaching, supervising, and evaluating Coffee Bar associates to maintain performance standards and oversee all Coffee Bar activities. The role is primarily conducted in a store environment and requires handling products in cold conditions (approximately 28°F in the cooler and -20°F in the freezer). The position demands a high level of customer service, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and involves working with sharp knives. Occasional exposure to dust, cleaning chemicals, and equipment movement hazards may occur. This is a fast-paced environment where stressful situations can be encountered.

Requirements

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables.
  • Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording.
  • Ability to understand and follow written, verbal, or demonstrated instructions.
  • Ability to write identifying information.
  • Ability to request supplies orally or in writing.
  • Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet, with color vision and depth perception.
  • Ability to read descriptions on boxes and shelf tags to order product and place merchandise in proper locations.
  • Ability to work shifts varying in length and times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
