COFFEE BAR ATTENDANT
About The Position
Gorsuch is seeking Coffee Bar Attendants for its Ski Cafe & Coffee Bar at the base of Aspen Mountain in Aspen, Colorado. The role focuses on preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages while providing prompt, friendly, and efficient service in a welcoming environment. Attendants help maintain a clean, organized coffee bar and comply with food safety and health standards. The position requires attention to detail, a passion for coffee, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting. Requirements
- Previous customer service or food and beverage experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment operation.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Legal eligibility to work in the specified location.
Nice To Haves
- Barista certification or formal training in coffee preparation.
- Experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of food-service health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee drinks and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Greet customers, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations when requested.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep the coffee bar clean and organized by washing utensils, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and process transactions promptly.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to support smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.
