About The Position

This role is responsible for providing excellent service to guests in a cocktail and dining environment. Key duties include taking orders, serving food and beverages, managing payments, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
Two years high volume cocktail server experience required.
One year resort or country club experience required.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to communicate and work well with fellow employees and other departments.
Maintain a presentable appearance, behavior and manner at all times.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials.
Describe all menu items, prices, and methods of preparation.
Use suggestive selling techniques to encourage selection of items that are house specialties.
Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system.
Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner.
Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations.
Replenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
Ensure serving stations are always well-stocked.
Control guest checks and secure proper payment.
Complete and perform various side duties as needed.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day/night shifts, weekends and holidays.
