About The Position

Cocktail Servers provide continuous quality entertainment and are responsible for taking orders and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. Ensure the overall cleanliness of tables and side stations. Perform stocking and inventory as needed. Follow food and beverage standards and ensure guest satisfaction. Native American hiring preference for qualified candidates.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Food/beverage service experience with general knowledge of drinks preferred.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Proficient of alcoholic suggestive selling.
  • Customer service oriented, knowledge of proper serving, and table-clearing techniques, patient and quick-paced.
  • Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Knowledgeable of state liquor laws.
  • Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.
  • Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.
  • Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
  • Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.

Responsibilities

  • Radiates a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with guests.
  • Relays alcoholic drink orders and/or special requests to bartender.
  • Prepares non-alcoholic drinks for guests.
  • May pour/make certain alcoholic beverages as permitted by company policies.
  • Responds guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Frequently checks on table to offer additional cocktail service.
  • Monitors guest behavior and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to the guest should cease; notifies management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired condition of customers.
  • Accurately accounts for all sales, discounts and promotions in computerized cash register according to company cash handling procedures.
  • Clean and stock assigned station in service area.
  • Maintains cleanliness of gaming floor including but not limited to replacing ashtrays.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Must follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Follow all general and department policies and procedures.
