PT Cocktail Server - LSC
About The Position
Providing warm and caring bar and restaurant service, ensure the guests’ needs are promptly and efficiently met. This is a Part Time position working on average 16-29 hours per week; working weekends and weekdays, afternoon-evening shift. The role requires constant standing/walking on various surfaces, occasional crouching, stooping, pushing/pulling, frequent twisting, constant balancing, reaching, handling/grasping, and frequent fingering/feeling. The average weight to be lifted/carried is 20 lbs, with a maximum of 40 lbs. The working environment includes the interior and exterior of the hotel, with exposure to weather conditions, hazardous chemicals, food items, and beverages.
Requirements
- Hotel Operations or Customer Service experience preferred
- Communicates effectively with others
- Works productively with a team
- Effective multitasking skills
- Composure and patience under pressure
- Skilled in working with multiple computer programs
- TABC and Food Handler's Certifications
Responsibilities
- Delivery of food and beverages to guests
- Promotes and up-sells on liquor and food
- Must be completely familiar with all the different kinds of liquor, recipes and prices of drinks, proper glassware and garnishes
- Follows guidelines established in regard to age identification for suspected minors and when dealing with an intoxicated customer
- Attend required meetings
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees
- Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately
- Maintain hotel equipment in proper working conditions.
- Any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor
