About The Position
The Cocktail Server provides drink service in the outlet/bar, ensuring guests are served and following all procedures for dispensing alcohol. The role reports to the Beverage Shift Manager. This is a part-time position with pay of $8.00 hourly and average hourly tips of $13.62. Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option. Available schedules are Friday–Monday, 6:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m. (Tuesday–Thursday off), or Monday–Tuesday and Friday–Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. (Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday off).
Requirements
- Can obtain and maintain ABLE Certification.
- Can read, write, and understand simple instructions.
- Requires 1–3 months of equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires basic math skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and explain special promotions.
- Take orders and recite selections of call and premium brands; memorize available drinks.
- Enter orders into the point-of-sale system to notify the bartender.
- Replenish beverages as requested and check back with guests to assess satisfaction.
- Deliver beverages to patrons and ensure payment.
- Check and maintain proper setup and cleanliness of the service station before, during, and after the shift.
- Maintain cleanliness of guest areas, including removing empty glasses and bottles and cleaning ashtrays.
- Check identification of anyone ordering alcoholic beverages to confirm age compliance.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
