About The Position

The Cocktail Server provides a high-quality guest experience by taking drink orders, making recommendations, processing payments, and ensuring guests’ needs are met. The role includes delivering beverages promptly, maintaining knowledge of food and beverage menus, and serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with state regulations and alcohol-awareness training standards. The Cocktail Server also supports venue cleanliness, opening and closing procedures, and professional service standards.

Responsibilities

Accurately enter orders into the POS system and follow proper cash and payment-card procedures.
Deliver beverages to guests in a timely manner.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of food and beverage menus and the company.
Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with state regulations and alcohol-awareness training standards.
Follow Department of Health and company sanitation standards to protect the establishment, guests, and employees.
Set up the floor and perform opening, closing, and side-work procedures as directed by management.
Report equipment breakage or damage.
Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings.
Participate in staff training opportunities to update knowledge.
Clean and clear tables.
Learn about food and beverages, including wine, beer, and cocktails.
Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
Anticipate and accommodate guest needs while providing professional, exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.
Greet and welcome guests, offer drink menus, and provide information about beverage specialties.
Maintain the general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue.
