About The Position

The Cocktail Server provides a high-quality guest experience by taking drink orders, making recommendations, processing payments, and ensuring guests’ needs are met. The role includes delivering beverages promptly, maintaining knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and providing professional, attentive service. The Cocktail Server follows applicable alcohol service regulations, sanitation standards, and company procedures while helping maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the venue.

Responsibilities

Accurately enter orders into the POS system and follow proper cash and payment card procedures.
Deliver beverages to guests in a timely manner.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of food and beverage menus and the company.
Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards.
Follow Department of Health and company sanitation standards to protect the establishment, guests, and employees.
Set up the floor and perform opening, closing, and side-work procedures as directed by management.
Report breakage or equipment damage.
Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings.
Update knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
Clean and clear tables.
Learn about food and beverages, including wine, beer, and cocktails.
Maintain professional appearance standards outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Anticipate and accommodate guest needs and provide professional, exceptional service.
Greet and welcome guests, offer drink menus, and provide information about beverage specialties.
Maintain the general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue.
