About The Position
Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by providing attentive, personalized beverage service in a fast-paced, upscale bar environment. This role requires strong product knowledge, efficiency, and a warm, professional demeanor aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18/21 years old (per Texas alcohol service laws)
- Valid TABC Certification required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a cocktail server or in a high-volume bar/restaurant preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to upsell beverages
- Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, friendly, and professional beverage service to guests in the bar area
- Take and accurately input drink and light food orders into the POS system
- Deliver beverages in a timely manner while ensuring quality presentation
- Maintain a strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and bar offerings
- Anticipate guest needs and provide a high level of personalized service
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas
- Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Collaborate with bartenders and team members to ensure smooth operations
