Cocktail Server - Casino Bar
About The Position
This role involves taking orders and serving drinks to customers in a casino bar setting. Responsibilities include preparing drinks with appropriate garnishes, ensuring beverages are served at the correct temperature, and collecting payments. The position also requires maintaining a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety regulations, and upselling casino and venue products. Additionally, the role involves answering guest questions, verifying legal drinking age, and performing various side tasks to support the bar's operations. Employees may also be asked to perform duties outside their normal job description to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Must become trained and certified in TiPS.
- Knows hours of all Food and Beverage outlets.
- Memorizes food items to inform guests when asked.
- Knows all drink prices.
Responsibilities
- Takes orders and serves drinks to customers.
- Ensures hot beverages are hot and frozen beverages are frozen.
- Collects proper money for beverages.
- Cleans and maintains station, including removing trash and empty cups/bottles, and pushing in chairs.
- Constantly pre-buses the station.
- Follows Health and Safety Rules.
- Sells the casino and landing by knowing their respective products and upselling.
- Answers guest questions.
- Performs side work, such as making coffee, stocking and cleaning the waitress station, and cleaning the work area.
- Verifies guest is of legal drinking age when unsure.
- May be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description.
