About The Position

The Beverage Server is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests in a casino bar setting. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, adherence to company policies and liquor laws, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment. The server will interact directly with guests, build rapport, and ensure a positive experience.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 or older to serve alcohol.
  • Ability to accurately check guest ID.
  • Knowledgeable in the products the company serves.
  • Ability to properly operate the point of sales system.
  • Ability to uphold great communication with guest, build rapport, and engage in friendly conversations.
  • Ability to keep workstations and casino floor areas properly stocked, clean, safe, and organized.
  • Ability to serve drinks, greet guests, bus and run drinks, do side work, plus any other normal functions required to service our guests.
  • Ability to communicate all guest service opportunities and product shortages or issues to management.
  • Must know and comply with all rules, regulations and policies of the food and beverage department.
  • Must follow the company’s attendance policy as well as other rules and regulations set forth in the handbook.
  • Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by the departmental leaders.
  • Must abide by all state and local liquor laws.
  • Must immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party.
  • Must ensure customer service standards are met and retained.

  • Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
  • Smile, provide exceptional customer service, and treat guests and coworkers with respect.
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to specifications and serve them in an orderly and timely fashion.
  • Ensure guests are 21 or older before serving alcoholic beverages by accurately checking guest ID.
  • Operate the point of sales system, account for all service items, and keep a balanced bank.
  • Uphold great communication with guests, build rapport, and engage in friendly conversations.
  • Keep workstations and casino floor areas properly stocked, clean, safe, and organized.
