About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the bar is set up, cleaned, and stocked for each shift. The team member will take beverage orders, prepare drinks according to standard recipes, and adhere to all laws regarding the service of alcohol. Responsibilities also include cash handling, maintaining cleanliness, upselling food and beverages, and managing inventory. The position requires flexibility to work at both Central City and Black Hawk properties and any schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is offered, paid in two installments after 90 and 180 days of employment, provided the team member is in good standing.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent experience
• Six months experience as a server preferred
• Prior money handling experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to work at both the Central City and Black Hawk properties
• Must be flexible to work any schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• TIPS Certification – We will train you!

Responsibilities

• Ensure the bars are set up for the shift, cleaned and stocked.
• Takes beverage orders from the customers and servers and ensures all drinks are rung in before any are prepared.
• Follows the standard drink recipes, using the proper glassware and portions.
• Adheres to all the laws pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages and dealing with guests.
• Intoxicated persons must never be served.
• Balances cash at the end of their shift and follow the standard procedure for cashing out.
• Keeps bar, counters, and work areas clean always.
• Upsells food and beverage to patrons.
• Prepares requisitions and inventories as required at the end of the shift.
• Locks up product when necessary.
